STUDIO ETIQUETTE AND TIPS

- You can create a profile, purchase classes, and reserve your spot for class online using the ScheduleBliss Application http://schedulebliss.com/Homyogabarre. Prior to your first visit we ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early for registration and to meet your teacher.
 
- PLEASE REMOVE YOUR SHOES when at the entrance. All Classes are practised barefoot.
 
- Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movement or freedom of breath.
 
- Arrive hydrated and eat a light, healthy meal 2 hours prior to your practice.
 
- Yogis come to this space for various reasons, mostly to get away from the day to day stresses, so please keep the practise area silent to respect your fellow yogis who might be meditating.
 
- TURN OFF all electronics.
 
- Be MINDFUL of fragrances and personal hygiene. You are sharing a small closed space with many other yogis and at times classes may be heated which enhances the sensitivity of odours.
 
- Remember, its ok to TAKE A BREAK during your practise. Mind and body awareness are essential to your yoga practise so please listen to what your body is telling you. Allow your connection to breath guide you to calmness.​
- If you are new to Yoga you will discover the most challenging posture at the end of your class. This posture is called Savasana or Corpse Pose. The challenge comes from stilling the mind and body in union with breath allowing meditation and reflection. Challenge yourself to stay and experience stillness maybe for the first time today.
 
- Yoga is about you, so we encourage you to experience different teachers and different classes in your new H’OM away from home.
